How to play

1. Choose a cup (or a single race), your driver and the rival level, then press Enter or tap to race.
2. Hold gas as the lights count down: starting to accelerate just before GO gives a rocket-start boost.
3. Drive through rainbow boxes to get an item, then press Shift (or tap ITEM) to use it. Hold brake while firing to drop it behind you.
4. Tap the drift button to hop, steer into the corner and hold: release when the sparks turn blue, orange or purple for a boost.
5. Hit the ramps with speed. Over a gap you need to be fast, and a trick in the air gives a bonus boost on landing.
6. Finish in the top places in every race of the cup to collect points and win the trophy.

Controls

Tips & tricks

• Longer drifts give bigger mini-turbos: wait for the purple sparks on wide corners.
• Collect all ten rings: each one adds a little top speed.
• Keep a shield or banana behind you when a rival is right on your tail.
• On the gap jumps, hit a boost pad or use a turbo just before the ramp to be sure of clearing the gap.
• Hold gas just before GO for a rocket start, but not too early or the wheels will spin.
