How to play

1. Pick a track, car colour, rival level and number of laps in the menu, then press Enter or tap to race.
2. Wait for the lights, then keep your foot down. Brake before corners and use the racing line.
3. Hold the handbrake to drift through bends: drifting fills your nitro bar, which gives a big speed boost.
4. Finish the laps in front of the pack to win. Your best lap time is saved for next time.

Controls

Tips & tricks

• Brake in a straight line before a corner, then get back on the gas as you steer out.
• Short handbrake taps rotate the car; long drifts bleed speed but refill nitro.
• Switch to the hood camera (C) for the best sense of speed.
• Rubber-banding keeps the pack close, so a clean lap is worth more than a risky one.
